Biochimica Clinica is the official Journal of the Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology - Laboratory Medicine (SIBioC).

Biochimica Clinica (BC) publishes papers related to Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology and more generally to Laboratory Medicine. Papers written both in Italian and in English are published. The BC readership is around 2000 readers.
BC is published in electronic format on a quarterly basis (4 issues per year); in addition, 1 or 2 monographs on topics chosen by the Editorial Committee are published per year. A further Supplement is dedicated to the proceedings of the SIBioC National Congress.

The Proceedings of the Congress, the monographic volumes, the SIBioC official Documents as well as some contributions of particular relevance, are made freely available. All published articles are freely available after a 12 month embargo.
Biochimica Clinica is indexed on Scopus, EMBASE, Engineering Village, Reaxys, Emerging Sources Citation Idex (ESCI), CABELLS, EBSCO and Web of Science – Biosis (Clarivate).
